Position: Solar PV Installer

Location: Bracknell – Travel within 1 hour, across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

Solar PV Installer opportunity available with our client, a renewable energy contractor based in Surrey who specialise in the installation of solar PV systems, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging units, and battery storage systems within domestic properties.

Solar PV Installer Job Overview

• Working on the roof-based installations of domestic solar PV systems alongside Electrician’s and labourers
• Managing the project completion from roof preparation/mounting system layout, through to panel placement and client handover
• Travelling to domestic sites across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, and surrounding areas
• Taking responsibility for health and safety requirements on site

Solar PV Installer Job Requirements

• Experienced in completing domestic solar PV installations
• Confident in leading small teams on roof-based projects, including a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Background in either roofing or electrical work
• Any electrical or solar-specific tickets such as NVQ Level 3 or C&G 2399 are highly desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence

Solar PV Installer Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £35,000 - £42,000, negotiable depending on experience
• Company van
• 37.5 hour working week
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company pension provided (initial 5% employer contribution)
